The bottom paint is good for another year, just last week she was hauled and the bottom was pressurewashed and cleaned. bottom is in great shape.
She was recently sailed offshore from Corpus Christi, TX to Kemah, TX (about 200 miles in the Gulf of Mexico) which any problems.
This endeavour has NEVER HAD ANY HURRICANE OR STORM DAMAGE !!
This boat also does not suffer the 'leaky tank' problems that some of the E40s were plagued with. The tanks in this boat do not leak at all and are in very good shape.
All original owner's manuals are included!
The boat runs great, sails great, and looks good. The only thing she needs is some updating. (perhaps spend a couple hundred dollars on some nice leather cushion covers down below in the main salon instead of the original 1983 brown covers? The interior (and exterior) need a good thorough cleaning. The hull and deck gelcoat finish is average for a boat this age, but it would REALLY shine out and look much better if they were buffed, compounded, and waxed. Overall, the boat is very presentable. However, it could be improved a lot by spending just a little time and a little money.
